Kroger Bakery Site/Assembly
Columbus, Ohio
A 9.5 acre, urban infill project consisting of the adaptive reuse of the former Ford Motor Company’s Model T factory building and the former Kroger Bakery Building, built in 1927. The Ford Motor Co. building is on the National Register of Historic Places and has been awarded state and federal historic tax credits. The project is also a recipient of Ohio’s DOD Brownfield Remediation Grant for abatement and soils remediation work.
The project will also include three multi-story, new construction apartment buildings, retail and restaurant space on Cleveland Avenue’s street front, and an assortment of outdoor amenities such as an Amenity Porch with a Pool, a Roaming Forest, Dog Park, and many passive and active gathering spaces.
