Rumpkee Corporate Office

Colerain Township, Ohio

This Class “A” office building serves as the Corporate headquarters for the entire Rumpkee organization, allowing the company to consolidate all of its central business functions under one roof for the first time in its 75-year history.  These include customer service, billing, IT, HR, and corporate management.

The building provides up to 150 employees with a modern workspace and numerous amenities such as café-style breakrooms, ground-level and rooftop patios, and a central green for large-scale gathering and team-building activities.  Mechanical systems included state-of-the-art heating and cooling, centralized digital lighting control, white noise for open office areas, and a wide range of energy-saving building automation.

Planning, detailed design, and final permit approval were completed in nine months, with construction wrapping up 18 months later.  The only significant delay took place at the start of construction, caused by a region-wide shortage of structural steel framing.

Only part of the twelve-acre site was used for the new office and parking.  A two-way through street was built to ODOT standards and public utilities installed to allow for future development. The entire project was completed on budget, with several hundred thousand dollars of project contingency returned to the client after final closeout.
